Special Events at the Karate Institute

Along with our martial arts and fitness instructions, the Karate Institute presents and participates in a variety of special events and activities to help promote the martial arts and to encourage involvement within the school and the community.  Here are some of our upcoming events:

2/16/08

Winterfest Tournament

Time:  Saturday, February 16, 2008

Place: Karate Institute

2/17/08

KI Bowling Night

Time:  Sunday, February 17, 2008

Place: Parkway Lanes

More than 80 students and their families came out to enjoy a night of bowling and fun at Parkway Lanes.  The high score of the evening - 228 - was earned by our music-meister, Ed Fujs.

Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

3/15-16/08

Kidshow

Time:  March 15, 2008 at 1:30 pm and March 16, 2008 at 4:00 pm

Place: Great Lakes Mall

The Karate Institute will be performing on Saturday and Sunday on the Main Stage (in front of Macy).  Our show - with its high-energy routines appealing to all segments of the public, is often the highlight of the event.

MS Walk

Place: Mentor High School

Millennium Tournament (PKC)

 

Time:  Sunday, May 3-4, 2008

Place: Orange High School

6/8/08

St. Gabe's Festival Demo

Time:  June 8, 2008 at 5:30 pm

Place: St. Gabe's Festival

The Karate Institute will be performing on Sunday in the Main Tent during the festival.  Our show is filled with high-energy performances while showing all levels of abilities and various facets of the sport.  Come watch as and get energized as we celebrate the beginning of summer!
