Nicole Hopsecger - Nidan

My name is
Nicole Hopsecger and I’m in the 10th grade at Mentor High School.
I have been involved in the martial arts for nine years, and have
taken up fan and chucks as my main weapons. Karate has given me many
things that I will keep with me for the rest of my life and never
forget, such as my friends and all of the memories I've had the past
nine years. It has also given me skills I didn't have before, like
being able to get up in front of crowd and perform. Karate has also
made me realize all of the opportunities that are waiting for me out
in the world. My favorite aspect of the martial arts is performing
on Team Revo. I've had a great time improving my skills and working
with the team during practices. While being a part of Team Revo I
have traveled to many national tournaments which were, at times,
very stressful, but at the same time some of the best experiences of
my life. I would like to thank EVERYONE at the Karate Institute for
always being there to encourage me and help me improve. I would
specifically like to thank my wonderful parents for investing so
much of their time and money for me to travel to NASKA tournaments
and always loving and supporting me. I also want to thank Andy and
Tyler for introducing me to the creative martial arts and always
encouraging me during practices.
